For overseas removal claims

All claims under the scheme are now handled by PCL claims limited.
PCL are a specialist marine insurance claims company, and are used by Aviva across their extensive marine cargo and removals insurance portfolio.
Once your shipment has arrived at your new home, you are given 7 days to thoroughly check for any damages or goods missing, and advise PCL of your intention to make a claim.

For all other claims

Do you have your policy documents?
Your policy documents have all the contact details you’ll need to get in touch with your insurer. If something happens, it’s best to contact them as soon as you can so they can offer immediate support.
Most policies have a time limit for reporting a claim, so letting your insurer know promptly will help avoid any delays.
Emergency claims support
If you require claims support out of hours, your insurer will usually have an emergency service available. Your policy documents will contain these contact details.
